Taking Imodium For Detoxification. What Is The Correct Dosage And Duration?

I have my 30 year old son at home attempting to detox from excessive use of pill form fentynal. We are trying the Imodium as recommended on this website. What is safe daily dosage, and duration? Also, should I be concerned about excessive sleep (he hadn t slept much in the last 5 days prior to coming here ) . His girlfriend has the same problem; between the 2, it s hard to know the truth, but I think he was off for 3 days, then used again the day before coming here. Are there serious risk factors to detoxing from this ? I ve gotten so much conflicting info. They did attempt detox facility and only stayed 3 or 4 days

Imodium alone may not help much. usually Tab Arkamine (Clonidine) is used along with it too. Clonidine 0.1mg three times a day. These medicines need monitoring by a doctor at least once as blood pressure has to be checked before giving Clonidine.In some people Clonidine can call fall in BP. BP has to be equal to or above 100/60 mg a day. So do consult a doctor. you can tell the doctor they don't want admission. Admission is not necessary. Imodium 2cap thrice a day can be used but if there is constipation do not give next dose as it can cause Ileus or Obstruction too. Medicines like these are to be supervised by a doctor, please. Don't self medicate.
