Taking Levothyroxine For Hypothyroidism. Is Herbalife Supplement Safe?

Hi. I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and am now taking Levothyroxine. I came across the Herbalife products and recently purchased the program. Is this product safe for me to take with my new medication? If so, how many hours should I wait after taking the Levothyroxine before I take the Herbalife supplements?

Hi thanks for your question.
You have been diagnosed as hypothyroid and put on levothyroxine.In hypothyroidism there is decreased production of thyroid hormone, leading to the deficiency of thyroid hormone. Thyroid hormone is replaced in the form of levothyroxine .This hormone is very essential for various metabolic activities of body. Herbalife supplement have no role in the management of hypothyroid state and don't have any interaction with levothyroxine,however they are supplements mainly used for weight management and can be taken along with levothyroxine.
