Taking Lisinopril For HTN And PVCs. Stress Test Normal. Have Fatigue. Want Beta Blocker

I am 50 yrs old and I have mild HTN and have been on lisinopril 5mg bid. Been having PVC's which I am symptomatic too. i.e. extreme fatigue. I had a stress test and an echo which all came back normal. I want to ask my cardiologist to to switch to a a beta blocker such as atenolol to control my BP and the PVC's. I want something that that has minimal impact on my ability to exercise for I work out 5 days a week.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

It will be good to have beta-blockers...
Start a small dose / step up depending on pressure and heart rate
There is a choice – selective and/or slow release (long acting) preparations are available
It can supplement – need NOT supplement lisinopril...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
