Taking Mitrazpine Since Four Years. Changed To Methamphetamines. Effects Of Meth. Can I Take Daily Tab Of Mirtazapine To Reduce Effects?

I am a 55 y/o male and have been taking mitrazpine for about 4 years, about 14 hours ago I tried for the first time some methamphetamines. I did not take my Mirtazipine 30 mg tab before bed as normal. I am still experiencing the effects of the meth. Can I take my daily tab of Mirtazapine to help reduce the effects?
Thanks
Ray

Hi,

I do not think mirtazapine will reduce the effects of methamphetamine, but it may help you get some sleep. The effects of methamphetamines last for around 24 hours and you will feel somewhat uneasy till then. Please avoid these in the future as they are highly addictive and can also cause psychosis, among other complications.

Best wishes.
