Taking Ritalin, Celabrex For Depression. Noticed A Lot Of Irritability And Anxiousness. Should I Continue Medication?
Just started on 20 Mg of Ritalin for boredom as well as depression. I am also on Celabrex for depression. My age is 70 years old. With my 2nd dose I noticed a lot of irritatability and anxiousness. Is this a side effect that will pass with time. Also, should I take this medication separately from my other drugs or a certain time of day. Thank you in advance for your help.

i wonder why would you use an ADHD( attention deficit disorder) drug Ritalin for your depression and why on earth would you use a simple NSAID Selective COX2 inhibitors for depression. No wonder you got Irritabality and anxiety.
Stop ritalin at least. celecoxib is not harmful if you have joint pains.
if you are depressed see a psychiatrist for evaluation and assessment. Just random pill taking is not the solution.Add to some group sign ups and take some psychotherapy session. Recreational and vocational rehabilitations will help.
You can use doxepin or SSRIs like fluoxetene for your depression and stop self medication unless prescribed by a physician. Your life is sacred and you should care for its health.
Keep taking care of your self.
