Taking Thyrodip For Hyperthyroidism. Trying To Conceive. Do I Need Fertility Treatments?

I am suffering from HyperThyroidism for past 6 years. Since 1 year my reports are normal and am currently taking Thyrodip ( Carbimazole ) 20 mg. I have been trying to conceive since 1 year. My progesterone Level on day 21 was 16 in May 2012 and it was 4.32 in Sept 2012. Do I need to take Fertility treatments to conceive?

Infertility Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thyroid problem is not the only cause of infertility. You can consult infertility specialist for evaluation & if the need arises treatment. Before trying for conception its better to convert from carbimazole to the medicine safer in pregnancy in consultation with your endocrinologist.
Wish you good health.
