Taking Topamax For Migraine. Have Migraine, Dizziness, Stomach Discomfort After Donating Blood. What Should I Do?

I donated a pint of blood on Wednesday. I felt fine til I went to bed. I take topamax for migranes (still fine to donate) but developed a horrible migrane. I'm a college student and I know I can't miss class. I took some excedrin as I left Thursday but it didn't help, only got worse, so bad, I got dizzy and fell down 3 stairs. My stomach has also been bothering me, but the migrane just keeps getting worse. What should I do?

You should visit your family doctor. Meanwhile you should rest as much as possible and have a healthy diet. Meat, Fish and Green vegetables are all good foods to take in order to increase the red blood cells count. Also the migraine and dizziness you have may be caused by low blood pressure. Normal values are 120/80 plus minus 10. Dring vitamins, especially those containing Iron and Calcium.
