Taking Birth Control Pills, Spotting, No Period, HPT Negative. Is That Normal?

Hello, I m taking nor qd birth control pills. I was spotting I kilt with one day of heavy bleeding, the month of August I didn t have a cycle. It seems I may not have one for September, is that normal? I hav taking three pregnancy test, all are negative.

Yes, spotting is a common side effect of birth control pills. I would not really worry about this side effects, as most women experience the same only for short periods of time. But if this is causing you discomfort or last for a long period of time, then you can report to your prescribing doctor who will certainly help find a suitable solution.

And yes, you are most probably not pregnant. Hope this helps.
