Taking Digoxin, Warfarin, Losartin For Atrial Fibrillation. Is There Any Way To Get Off Statins?
I have atrial fibrillation and it is always present. I am presently taking digoxin, warfarin, losartin 100mg and fleodipine (5 mg)I've had one AF attack last month while not having one for over 6 years. I am 77 years old, is there a way to get off of the statins?
Hi, I read your query and would like to say, that if you take statins for the treatment of dyslipidemia (high LDL-cholesterol level) than you can get off them. To do so I recommend a diet reach in proteins and low in fat. Also I suggest walking and some physical activity adequate for your age. Dr. Bneard
