Taking Fertomid. Does It Affect Ovulation?

Hello, I am on my second month if Fertomid 50. My cycle is between 26 and 29 days. Is it true that you ovulate later on these pills?

I am taking 5 pills from day 3 of my cycle. I did my first ovulation test today (day 16) and it is negative. Im worried Ive missed my window period and am hoping I will still ovulate this month.

Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Generally ovulation will occur after taking the ovulation induction drugs in many women unless there is any specific problem.
But as you are having 26 to 29 days cycle, there is possibility that the ovum might have released among 12th day to 15th day.
That may be one reason for your negative ovulation test.
But sometimes the time of ovulation can alter also.
So you once go for follicular study and possibly that can give clear idea.
