Taking Low Dose AMITRIPTILINE For IBS 10 Mg At Bedtime

Taking low dose AMITRIPTILINE for IBS 10 mg at bedtime At first it appeared to help with the severe large bowel cramps and after about 10 months it doesn't appear to help at all. Higher dose or consider a different tricyclic AD? Is something like Valium effective?
