Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
You are getting sharp pain under the right rib cage, continuous pain between the shoulder blades, and upper back.
You are using metformin, but didn't mention since how long. If you are using since long, it is definitely not due to the metformin.
The pain appears to be due to the gastric hyperacidity due to the irritant foods, peptic ulcer, gallbladder or anxiety.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
