Taking Primoult. Taken To Delay Periods. Can I Take To Delay Periods For 3 Weeks?
Hi
I have been taking Primolut for a number of years as and when required due to very heavy periods, as sometime required if travelling or such like. 5mg
.
However normally I have taken to only delay for maxium a week or 10 days - this time I need to delay my period for around 3 weeks due to travelling and the nature of my job. Will this be OK for a one off?

Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. primolut is norethisterone tablet, it is a progesterone, it can be taken for 3 weeks , but after stopping you might get heavy periods. Intermittent taking of this drug can decrease the endometrial thickness, and can even cause endometrial atrophy.
