Taking Steroid Injections For Bronchial Asthma With Whizzing. Experiencing Headache, Pain In Feet And Jaw

my son was admitted to hospital for bronchial asthma in his medication they where giveing steroid injections .....his whizzing is fine nw ....cough is there bt very less....nw from past 2days he is telling about headache , feet pain and some time jaw or teeth pain

Thanks for your question on HCM. Injectable steroids are given in exacerbation of asthma. But tge most common cause for this is infection. So make sure that proper antibiotics are given. And injectable steroids should taper off once patient is better.no need to give it longer. And after discharge put him on inhaled medicines like long acting beta 2 agonist and inhaled corticosteroids. This will help him in preventing future exacerbation. And about headache I think it will go away with simple pain killers. No need to worry for this.
