Taking Vertin For BBVP. Pain Behind Ears, Head, Balancing Problem. Taking Glcomet For Polycyst. Side Effects?
hi, since three months i m having bbvp. with the advice of ENT, i m taking vertin 16 3 times a day. in addition, i have short shooting headache anywhere in the head, sometimes behind the ear also and sometimes balancing problem . i was also taking flemino for polycysts. Now i stopped flemino and taking glcomet sr 500 once a day. i m pl tell me , Are these headaches the side effects of these medicines . what should i do for the headaches.

Vertin has been known to cause headache,this should be discussed with your doctor/PCP.You may however take NSAIDs like paracetamol/Ibubrufen.

Vertin is pharmacologically betahistine, a vestibular sedative used for management of vertigo.
Headache is a known side effect of this medication.
Glycomet is pharmacologically metformin, an oral anti diabetic drug, also used in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome. Side effects include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, Vit B12 deficiency, lactic acidosis, etc.
So, kindly consult your treating physician & discuss regarding this.
The dosages of the medication needs to be adjusted depending up on the effect vs side-effect profile.
