Tear In Cervix, Bleeding With Heavy Flow. Treatment?

Hi, 2 weeks ago I was examined by my own gp to find out I had a tear in my cervix. She told me if the bleeding didn't stop within 2 weeks to call her. So the bleeding hasn't stopped and now I cannot get an appointment with my gp for 4 weeks!! It is really heavy now and fresh blood. I would really appreciate any advice. thank you , chloe

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
You can better consult emergency deartment as the bleeding is heavy.
And possibly they will direct you to gynecologist.
As you are having cervical tear, that has to get sutured to control the bleeding.
With the doctor advice you can take anti-fibrinolytics to control the bleeding to some extent.
But treating the cause is needed for permanent control of the bleeding.
For more details you can ask me through: http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-sree-gouri-sr/63429
Take care.
