Teenager. Light, Brownish Periods With Mucus, Lower Abdominal Pain, Fatigue, Mood Swings. History Of Having Unprotected Sex. HPT Negative. Possible Pregnancy?
I'm 17yrs. Old and had unprotected sex with my bf my period was 3 days late yesterday I finally started what I thought it my but my blood is browish and dont fill a full pad also has mucus and when I wipe its pink, also be experiencing lower abdominal pain. Feeling fatigue, breast tender and moody, I took a pregnancy test but it was negative could I be pregnant?
It is quite unlikely that you are pregnant. However it is advisable to take another pregnancy test about a week later to be doubly sure.
You may also like to get an urine routine examination to rule out an urine infection and an ultrasound of the lower abdomen to rule out pelvic inflammatory disease which can give rise to lower abdominal pain and discharge as mentioned by you.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
Wishing you all the best.
