Tender, Flaky, Itchy Scalp With Tender, Swollen Lymph Nodes At The Back Of Neck And Head. History Of Seborrheic Dermatitis And Scalp Psoriasis. Suggestions?

hi, for two days i have had a very tender, flaky, itchy, sore scalp - after scratching my scalp the tenderness gets worse and today after washing my hair the lymph nodes at the back of my neck and head are very tender and swollen. I also have a history of scalp psoriasis/seborrheic dermatitis - could this have anything to do with that?

Hi
Welcome to health care magic forum
Thank you for your query
I understand your query regarding your skin problem
It look like you have infection over scalp.
lymph node swelling show infection in drainage area.
you need to take antibiotic medicine.
For pain you can take analgesic medicine.
For itching anti histaminic like cetrizine will work.
do not scratch or rub over scalp.
it is better to consult dermatologist for proper treatment.
it may be related to your current skin disease.
