Terminated Pregnancy Through Medicine But Have Retained The Products Of Conception. D&c Will Be Required?
hi. my pregnancy termination is done through medicine. i got bleeding on thursday, and on scan done on monday (5 days after) said i have retained products of conception. i am on medication again for expelling rpoc. i am worried if i will have to do d&c. please advise.

This sometimes happen with medical termination of pregnancy,
It depends on the size of the retained products as seen in ultrasound. since it was only early trimester abortion , there more chances that it comes out with misoprostol itself! If still bleeding persists longer you may need D&C
