Tested Positive For Anti-gad Antibodies. No Diabetes, Had Thyroditis And Thyroid Removed. Related?

Two years ago, I tested positive for anti-gad antibodies. My level was a 9. My neurologist ran numerous blood tears, and I have no other markers for diabetes. I am concerned that this could be the beginning of stiff person syndrome. I have had thyroiditis, and my thyroid has been removed, leaving me hypothyroid. Could this be the reason for my positive anti-gad antibody?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
The anti-GAD antibodies test is not just indication for diabetic, SP syndrome, it may indicate many clinical conditions, among them certain could be asymptomatic, Autoimmune disorder is one of them, even if you had thyroditis, was it necessary to remove? I think you became more conscious regarding your test, instead you should have been worry about the cause of positive antibody test, any way just relax nothing went wrong, just take care now, have nice day (Human body is such huge chemical factory, if converted into the oil refinery it may covers the whole world)
