Tested Positive For Chlamydia, Have Been With Same Partner, Had Tested Negative Earlier. Cause?

Hi, i have just been diagnosed with chlamydia , 6months ago i was tested and all results were negative however this time i got positive. i have had the same partner and we have been faithful to each other. it is possible that it was laying dormant in either myself or my partner when i was previously tested and now it has flared up??? Please help, we r both so confused how this could happen!

STD usually affects both the partners . If one has a dormant infaction, it can flareup anytime due to a host of factors like diabetes, temporary dip in immunity due to various factors. Both of you should consult a good doctor and get treatment
