Testicle Inflammation, Itchiness. What Should I Use?

i have developed little inflammation which recurr after some intervals on my testicles. I was feeling itchiness and tried to press and scratch it hard and thereafter i shaved all the hairs as i thought sweat there cause this itchiness. but now there is a patch almost at the lower end which becomes inflammed and i feel itchiness too probably when hair tries to grow but it seems they stay inside skin and cause itchiness. what should i use to be free of this problem?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having fungal infection or ingrown hair follicle infection.
Apply triple acting cream locally.
Go for one antibiotic course after consulting your doctor.
Take Benadryl or Cetrizine for itching.
Keep local part clean, dry and airy.
Ok and take care.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.
From your description, the possibility of a fungal infection is more likely. You may apply antifungal cream or ointment over the area twice a day and keep it dry. Wear cotton inner clothes and do not scratch the area with finger nails.

As you have mentioned about hair removal, there is significant itching associated with new hair growing. I think you feel this itching along with the problem of ingrown hairs. This can get secondarily infected if you scratch them.

Hope this helps.
