Tests Showed High Prolactin Level And Low Progesterone Levels. Concluded No Ovulation, Prescribed Bromergon Tablets. Explain
Hi doc,my gynae asked me to take some hormonal tests, prolactin level, estradiol, progesterone, and thyroid tests.all but progesterone and prolactin weren't so gud...prolactin level was too high and progesterone was low.he concluded I might not have been ovulating and prescribed bromergon tab...am still not sure wat all is all about,I really nid to know if I wouldn't have fertility problems
Hi, Your prolactin levels are high and this means you need to use medication to suppress them and the medication prescribed by your doctor is for this purpose. Increased serum prolactin levels hinder ovulation and the low progesterone levels substantiate this. You would need monitoring after treatment to see if ovulation has initiated and if this has happened you may not worry much about future fertility issues. Hope your query is answered. Take care.
