The attachtment skin on the head of my pennis connected to the skin is tearing off and it hurts at the beginning of sexual intercourse. Is this a bad thing thing? If so, What do I need to do to resolve this problem

That piece of skin is the prepuce. You can undergo a small procedure called Circumcision. There is nothing to worry as such, unless you have an STD.
