The Roof Of My Mouth Hurts After Carpal Tunnel Release. What Treatment I Have To Take?
i am two days post-op for carpal tunnel release. Have taken antibiotics as prescribed. Day one throat was a little sore. Throat was fine in the morning, but red and sore (hurt to eat or drink) in the evening. Day two, no throat pain in the morning, but hit me like a ton of bricks this afternoon. No fever, hurts to swallow , hurts mainly on the roof of my mouth. Should I call my surgeon?
Was the surgery done under general anaesthesia? If so it could be due to intubation. As you are already improving nothing to worry anyway but just complete the course of antibiotic.
