There Is A Sore Spot On The Inside Of My

There is a sore spot on the inside of my cheek which has healed and inflamed for 4 months. There may be another one starting on the other side. My dentist diagnosed lichen planus but my regular physician disagrees. I've had diabetes since 2001. Medication was prescribed to help with the condition 5 years ago. Recent a1c is slightly elevated. What is your level of concern.
