Thick Endometrium, Hormonal Imbalance, Anemic, Spotting, Irregular Period. Hysterectopy Done. Recommend Medication

hi, i did not get my periods for the month of july and checked for hb. i was anemic and my doc put me on orefer two tabs a day. i started to get spotting. My doc wanted to do a hysterscopy coz i had a thick endometrium and got it done on august 05, '13 and my doc said that i have hormonal imbalance. she put me on tdeivry for 21 days and continued to have periods all through. she then prescribed t stat for two days to stop my periods. It stopped and i finished my 21 days of tablest and got my periods again on Sep 04, 13. I did not stop until the 10 and so again i took tstat for two days and started to take t deivry for 21 days, I started to get my periods again on the 20th of sep and when spoke to my doc, she asked me to take deivy two tablets per day and tstat again, But my periods did not stop until i went and met my doc on the 25th. she stopped the tablet and gave me another pill called Novelon and asked me to take it for 21 days alongwith tstat tablet to stop bleeding for two days. My bleeding has not stopped till date inspite of continuing with the tablets as advised by the doc, kindly recommend a medicine to stop bleeding and please advise as to what will happen if i stop taking these medicines for hormonal imbalance. I'm 43 years old.

HI,
* The profuse bleeding due to hormonal imbalance not responding to cyclical hormones need, operation D&C where the endometrium is compleately curated & sent for histpathology. Thus the diagnosis is confirmed, bleeding is controlled.

* Baloon therapy is another way to cure profuse bleeding due to Hormonal imbalance.
