This Is A Tough Question To Ask I Feel As

This is a tough question to ask I feel as if it would best be served in a face to face enviorment but here goes. Oscillations / brain oscillations can be associated with rythmic variations and vibrations I believe which coincide with alpha waves and or gamma waves. When an outside stimulus is introduced such as a metronome and we perform a specific motor skill in direct relation to beat / rhythm can that be creating an actual memory engram? It is a horrible example but when slaves would row a boat in cadence to a beat of a drum would that also be in keeping with a rythm that therefore creates a brain oscillation or an alpha rythm that translates to a motor skill. The black and white question I am asking is with an outside stimulus such as the above mentioned metronome, and performing a psychical motor skill corresponding to the beat would that be considered a brain oscillation? Or perhaps training a motor skill and pairing it with an alpha rythm? To be performed at either a conscious or subconscious level?
