This Is About A Cat But I Hope You Can

This is about a cat but I hope you can give an opinion. I have a anemic cat with blood count of 20. She has severe stomatitis but my vet says she is too anemic for dental surgery. But I think she is getting weaker from not eating and should have the surgery before she declines more. Laser treatment has already been tried and the only cure is tooth extraction. She is 12 years old. She had her spleen removed 3 months ago when her blood count was 13. Is dental surgery more dangerous than spleen removal?
