Female, 54 years old, 5'4" good health. Blood work normal, looked like swelling on left side of throat, dr. order CT Scan, left side looked normal, right side has nodule half size of right thyroid, ordered ultrasound, recommend biopsy. All my joints ache, muscles ache, pulsating lower center throat, and headaches. Can thyroid cause all of these symptoms? No sore throat, no tenderness, no pain from throat. Body aches are uncontrollable. Have an appointment with endocrinology December 11th. for him to go over the test results and tell me what my options are. So at this time I don't know if he will want to even do a biopsy.
