Throat Swollen. Hurts While Swallowing. Is It Because Of The Root Canal Treatment In The Tooth?

my adams apple and the area near it is swollen....i wasnt well a week back...so had two glasses of water but vomited right after ...and ever since my adams apple and area got swollen ...and now when i swallow...it is realllly bad. Could it be beause of pain killers cuz last week i also got my root canal done ...dat tooth also hurts (still) plus this swollen adams apple and the area around it. bad times. help

Hi. This looks to be a rare case of swelling around Adams apple due to stretch-trauma to the muscles during vomiting. Rest to part with least talking, soft diet and hot fomentation and continuation of pain-killers with help you a lot. I hope there is no pain inside throat while swallowing. If so Consult you ENT Specialist for Endoscopy and rile out internal swelling too.
