Thyroglossal Duct Cyst And Abnormally Large Tonsils
I recently had a CT scan . It found that I have a thyroglossal duct cyst . I also found out that I had tonsolitis. A few months later I got another CT scan to check up on it and my tonsils are almost three times as large as normal. I need to get my cyst out this summer, so would it be good to get my tonsils out at the same time? Should I get my tonsils removed when I get my cyst removed?

Hi,
Get tonsillectomy done first and after a few months you can get thyroglossal cyst removed. Tonsil enlargement will cause you more discomfort than the thyroglossal cyst. I doubt anyone doing both the surgeries at the same sitting.
