Hello
Welcome to healthcaremagic
Show heart rate(bradycardia) is hallmark of hypothyroidism.Since you underwent thyroid cancer surgery ,your thyroid hrmone levels may be low and that is the cause of bradycardia.
You may need to increase your thyroid hormone medication if the bradicardia is symptomatic and causing you trouble.
Doctors may have advised you not to do exercise because people who do regular exercise(atheletes) have slower heart beat.
