Tightness In Chest, Breathlessness After Working Out. What Is The Cause?

Hi ... I've been feeling a tightness in my chest while playing tennis but it doesn't happen unless it's very hot ..like close to 90 and I'm running & hitting hard shots. It's hard for me to catch my breadth and will keep building unless I stop and have recovery time which takes about 10 minutes. Then I feel fine and if I continue playing, it will come back in the same way. I plan on making a Dr appt next week and getting any necessary tests. I'm getting worried. I'm very fit or so I think... 55 female

Respected Ma'm
1. A new onset tightness of chest, which is coming at a level of exertion at which it was not there previously, should be evaluated on priority.
2. I would recommend you to avoid heavy exertion till the issue is resolved.
3. In case you have similar symptoms at rest or with increasing severity/ intensity, do visit emergency room.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
