hi, I have been experiencing throat tightness and difficulty swallowing which is usually relieved by lots of belching. this usually happens while eating or after eating and more often when sitting down. I sometimes also get the same sensation when driving which is caused by anxiety. this happened the other day but lasted for an hour and even the burping would not totally relieve the throat tightness so I was worried that it was an anaphylactic reaction. how do I know if it is gerd or a severe allergic reaction? another interesting symptom is when I get this sudden tightness or spasm and I try to swallow I can feel some nerve sensation down my arms into my hands.
