Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have been diagnosed with a tinea infection in my groin , for which i have mean prescribed some cream which is helping. i have had it quite sometime before seeking treatment. However i have noticed some very small painless white discs just inside my urethra , these very small discs seem to have a tiny red spot at the centre of them. I have no pain urinating whatsoever. When I first notices these discs there appeared to be a small white skin over them, I pulled it slightly and it bled a small amount. I showed them to my GP and he said it is normal, although I forgot to mention the bleeding part - i was very nervous at my appointment with embarrasment. i fear it might get worse and spread. Could this be related to the jock itch infection? Please help thank you
Hi Thanks for writing to healthcaremagic.com It could be the same fungal infection with super added bacterial infection. A course of antibiotics and antifungals should cure you Wishing you a great health Regards Dr Arun
