Tingling In Arm, Hands And Leg. What Could This Be?

I have a tingling in the left side of my body -- arm, hands, leg. It was a sudden onset after a bad coughing spell as I was trying to go to bed. I've had the flu for about a week now and have lost my voice. When I cough I can really feel it in the left side of my neck. It's almost like it's a vein or blood vessel that gets agitated with each cough.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concern. In my opinion, the tingling sensation in your arms, hands and legs could be because of the pressure created on the cervical spine when you cough intensely caused compression on nerves. Did the cough subside after a week? If no you should be checking for diseases other than normal influenza(cold). Hope it helped. Thanks.
