Dear Concerned.,
Thanks for writing to us.
Pls include in the history whether you are a Diabetic/ Hypertensive/are you on any medications for Migraine/fits/do you have h/o smoking/drinking/suddenly stopping smoking/drinking.
In all probabality if your condition is associated with prodromal symptoms as described above/with strong family h/o similar episodes/vomitting relieving the onesided head ache, then it is suggestive of migraine. Migraine is caused by an increased congestion in parts of brain due to blood suppy as a result of increased
neurotransmitter (serotonin) release. The same is being treated after a complete work up by a
neurologist by using (1)Analgesics(2)B-Blockers(3)Flunarizine(4)Ergot Alkaloids etc.,
The migrainous head ache could be due to Vascular Malformations also.
Inv;-Baseline blood and Urine Investigations,Radiological Investigations such as CT/
MRI of Brain/ENMG due to
tingling and
numbness on right side of face.
As per the reports ,the differential diagnosis will be excluded one by one to arrive at a definitive diagnosis by Neurologist.Therafter the definitive treatment will be instituted.
wishing you Speedy recovery.,
Best Regards.,
