Tiredness, Cracking Nails, Severe Itching And Constipation. Thyroid Results Were Normal. How To Approach My Doctor To Get The Complaints Addressed?
I have had symptoms for at least a year. Trouble sleeping, tiredness, severe itching at night, excessive thirst, brittle hair that's falling out, dry cracking nails and hard skin around my fingers. I also have constipation. I cannot loose weight no matter what I do. I wake up nightly in a pool of sweat but my hands and feet are always cold. I have always thought I had hypothyroidism but when tested my levels seem "normal". My quality of life is so low and I have been diagnosed with depression. Any suggestions on how to approach my doctor to get my complaints addressed?
sleepless ,tiredness, excessive thirst, excessive sweati ng,hot n moist palms, weight loss suggestive of hyperthyroidism n not hypothyroidism.since ur thyroid vailues are normal nothingto worry. If u feel depressed n ur self esteem had become low ,kindly consult a psychiatrist. You just go to the doctor n just speak about ur complaints n he will extract from u what is required.
