Tonsils, Taking Paracetamol, Difficult To Swallow, Sore Throats. What To Do?
HI, my tonsils started hurting 2 days ago, and it is just the right tonsil, i have been taking paracetamol to get rid of the pain, which worked, until today- its hurting terribly every time i swallow, and Panadol has not worked. I used to have recurring sore throats and tonsillitis, and they would not hurt if i took paracetamol and it would disappear in about 2 days. Is this serious?

Not getting rid of pain after 2 days of paracetamol , you should start with antibiotics.
if you are an adult above 18 yrs. take----
Tab. Amoxicillin +Clavulinic acid 625 mg three times a day
Also start---
Tab. Chymoral forte / serratiopeptidase three times a day
Tab. Diclofenac 50 mg three times a day
Tab. paracetamol sos (if required for pain or fever)
Betadine gargle 2 tsf in half glass of water three times a day
Multivitamins.Do not eat hard food .avoid smoking and alcohol.
report back after 5 days.\

paracetamol increases the dryness
it is not serius
yu can take antibiotics cefixim 200 mg bd for 5 days
take diclofenic as painkiller
add liquid antacid
and betadine for gargles after every food
will be normal in 5 -7 days
if there is recurence you can go for injection penidura 12 lac units IM after test only one injection
or you can go for 3 injections at monthly intervals
this just d magic in mycases
