Took Antibiotics For Cold Symptoms, Headache, Fatigue, Coughing. Feeling Dizzy, Hot And Nauseous. Any Suggestions?
I've had cold symptoms for about a week now with stuffy nose, headache, fatigue, and coughing. My coughing got worse and I was coughing a lot up so I ended up going to the doctor thinking I may have walking pneumonia. She gave me an antibiotic a few days ago and I've been taking it twice a day. This morning I woke up feeling a little better ate a small breakfast and then took the antibiotic. About 2 hours later I felt extremely dizzy, hot, and nauseous. I ended up throwing up and ever since then I feel awful. Mainly really dizzy and kind of out of it..I have no idea what's goof in with me. Any suggestions?
Many antibiotics and other medicines used for cold can cause temporary damage to the inner ear vestibular structures that maintain the balance of the body. This manifests as dizziness, nausea and vomiting. The usual offending agents are gentamicin, erythromycin, roxithromycin etc but many other drugs have also been implicated. In my opinion, you should inform your doctor so that she can suggest an alternative antibiotic for you.
It is not clear how many days you used antibiotics, may be its reaction due to over dose? however to overcome the problem using homeopathic remedy you can use IPECAC 30 globules , five globules thrice a day for 2-3 days ,its quite safe dose, hoping this shall be helpful to you,if you want to use antibiotics then go to your routine doctor. For homeopathic care you can continue with me at HCM.
