Having mild brownish discharge after taking emergency contraceptive pill. What are the chances of pregnancy?

Hello doctor... I finished my periods on 2nd nov, I and my husband had unprotected sex on 7thnov , few hours later I had morning pill(emergency contraceptive i pill , unwanted 72 , plan b)... and after 4 days , yesterday I was having light brownish discharge ,which turned red scanty discharge... we are worried that is everything is normal.... please help...

Hi,
You had unprotected sex on 10 th day of menses. The ovulation day is around 10th to 16th day of period,depending on the length of menstrual cycle.
So you had a possibility of conception . Fortunately you took plan b contraceptive pill within few hours of sex.
Plan B works by shifting ovulation. You had withdrawal bleeding after 4 days. That sounds normal.I feel you have minimum possibility of pregnancy.
Please be watchful for next period.
And,in case you don't want to conceive, start a regular contraceptive ,with your doctor's advice.
