Took Nordette After Unprotected Sex. Had Bleeding. How Long Will It Last? Chance Of Getting Pregnant?

I had unprotected sex last Sep 3 around 5:30 pm it was the 5th day of menstrual cycle. I too nordette by Sep 4 5:30 AM (4 dose) and then took it again by Sep 4 5:30 PM... Then just last night Sep 9, I experienced some bleeding. I read that this is normal.. but how long would it last? and would my period be on time? Also, would this mean i won't get pregnant.. thanks for the help..

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Actually the chance of pregnancy is very less in your case as you were not in ovulatory period when you had intercourse.
As you took the emergency pill in the first half of the cycle, it may prepone your periods.
That may be the reason for your bleeding.
Usually it will stop in 4 to 5 days.
Possibly you may get your next cycles regularly.
Better to avoid repeated usage of emergency pills.
Take care.
