Welcome to HCM.
Swollen behind ear and under throat is lymph node enlargement.
It usually occurs after infection in the head and neck area due to infective drainage in the lymph node.
According to me you have to stop steroid and continue proper antibiotic like amoxy/clavulinic 625 with decongestant and nsaid.
Lymph node enlargement will subside gradually.
Avoid cold drinks, chocolates, ice cream and deep fry food.
If it is recurrent than go for cbc, aec, fbs, ppbs and x-ray investigations.
Consult your ent for further guidance and proper medical management.
