hello i has heart disease and gathered to much body fluid even upon taking the bumetanide 1mg tab three tablets twice a day im having trouble breathing and severe weakness and dizziness should i call 911 i has gained 21 pounds in just a short time my feets and ankles are badly swollen with fluid.......johnnie

Hello welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.

It seems like you have reduced pumping capacity of your heart, due to which you have swelling all over the body. It is also possible to have fluid in lungs also if you feel persistent breathlessness.

My advice to you is -

1 . Reduce salt and water intake. Maximum 1 litre per day.

2.You should consult your doctor and go for 2d echo study. It will show how is your pumping capacity of your heart.

3.You need injectables diuretics to clear up the fluid levels. So consult your doctor and start treatment.
