Treatment For Pain After Lingual Tonsillectomy?

Just had a regular and lingual tonsillectomy. Today is day 2 post op and im absolutely miserable, the pain medication I was given (5/325 Percocet) is wearing off after 2 hours - resulting in my increased need to re-dose and up my dose but im afraid of taking to much asprin in one day. My ENT doctor is out of state until Tuesday - is this enough reason to goto the ER to readjust my pain medication?
