Treatment For Swollen Glands, Sore Throat, Loss Of Voice?
I have been having sore throat for a while. My voice goes often and somedays I cannot utter a word. It is hoarse most of the time. Usually it happened during the winter. Now we are in summer and it continuously have not stopped. I visited the specialist and he said nothing much just the glands are swollen. What is the cause of a swollen gland and what can I do about it? I have stopped drinking cold drinks for ages now. Thanks, Jackie
Hi. You have acute on chronic tonsillitis. The lymphoid glands get swollen because of infection. Infection occurs because intake of cold items, oily food, bad weather, exposure to ac. Remedy: drink boiled water, avoid cold and oily food. Take a course of anti inflammatory medicines if there is pain. If pain continues then you mey need to consult doctor.
