Treatment For Swollen Tonsils With Black And Red Patches

My tonsils are extremely swollen and red and have black and whit patches from top to bottom. I swiped them with a q-tip to try and clear off some of the white that I assume is puss and they are rock hard. It is very difficult to swallow and it seems to be getting worse over the last 24 hours. I have been rinsing with salt water but it is no better. what should I do?

Hi,
I have gone through your query; it suggests that you may be suffering from the tonsillolith.
I personally advised to medical management for 7 days after that go for the tonsillectomy.
