Treatment For The Throat Pain

I have a dull pain in my throat like down in the back toward my neck area. It has been going on for two days but comes and goes about once a month. Tylenol usually helps take the ache away but I'm worried because it comes back. What could it be that is causing this?

Your sore throat should be evaluated through posterior pharynx examination , CBC , throat swab and ASO titre ...
According to which if neeeded antibiotic course given. ...

Salt water gargles done two times a day...

Steam inhalation also useful....

Avoid excess spicy foods and fried foods for few days ...

More fluids taken....

If congestion present than decongestent like benadryl needed ...

Take care ..
