General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

White creamy discharge can be due to either bacterial or fungal vaginal infection.
The treatment should be started only after the vaginal swab examination is done and the exact pathogen is detected.
However, the treatment given is appropriate and is the blanket treatment for vaginal infection.
You will get relief in 5-7 days of treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
